Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken - Nashville: A Taste of Southern Comfort

Incredible chicken, Mac and cheese and fried green tomatoes, but the real standout was the service. After Bonnaroo's cancellation they offered us all free 2pc and fry meals and koozies!

Everything I ate was delicious. Some say the chicken is hot but this is not the case. Ordered leg, breast, thigh, okra, mac & cheese, fried green tomatoes, pecan pie and sweet tea. Chicken was delicious and moist. Best fried green tomatoes I ate while in nashville! Mac & cheese was weird because it had pre-grated cheese on top but was still good. Music playing in the house was great. Took pecan pie to go and it was great too. Waitress was friendly and attentive. If I'm in this part of the world again, I'll be stopping here again.

Well came at a good time, because it is usually crowded every time we pass it but, it’s after lunch time and this is good. Destiny is our server and she’s very personable, upbeat, friendly and cute! She gave us the whole history/menu options. They greet each person as they walk in. The restaurant has a Home like filling inside it Pictures on the wall, huge chandelier and just a homey feeling. Fried Chicken came out fresh and hot. It hasn’t been sitting under a light. I noticed that they have a lot of orders. Wow, now I see why they stay crowded. This chicken is off the chain.!!!! I think they will be here awhile. Try it out.

This is our 2nd Gus's location and it never disappoints! The staff is so friendly (Destiny and her trainee Jennifer were on it fast!) Just the right spices and the sides are amazing. Do yourself a favor get to Gus's real soon.

First time at Gus’s Fried Chicken Nashville and wow! flavor packed spice that doesn’t hurt, just hits right. Chicken was crispy, juicy, and unforgettable. Staff? Sweet as sweet tea. Prices? Too good to be true. Oh, and the pecan pie? Buttery, nutty, not too sweet. Best I’ve had. must-try in Nashville!

Our family LOVED Gus’s chicken. It was the right amount of flavor and spice. And crispy without being hard. The fries and okra were great too! Service was great as well. Definitely recommend going here.
